I was up against two challenges this summer: carry-on only for 9 days in 3 cities, and a record-breaking heatwave. To beat the heat, I opted for the most flowy and most forgiving (aka black-colored) pieces in my closet. To keep outfits feeling different, I relied on accessories to bring new life into the pieces I was rotating through. My Judey Studio belt doubled as a necklace, and favorite By Orly shell necklace made appearances day and night. I went for tried and true comfy sandals and an easy I-dont-care-if-this-gets-squished Amazon bag. I also packed fabric spray to keep things fresh (literally) and wrinkle free.. highly recommended.

How I Packed
Tuscany
Starting with the best first, our stay at Casa Newton. Every inch of this property was a dream, beautifully, thoughtfully, and uniquely decorated. It’s a miracle I didn’t “accidentally” leave with any ceramics. This part of the trip was full R&R, filled with many negronis, homemade pastas, and hours of poolside Monopoly Deal. The interior was almost as beautiful as the exterior, with gorgeous wallpapers in each room, fun fabrics upholstering every piece of furniture, and funky floors that really made you feel like you were staying in a piece of art. The gardens were truly stunning, with tons of gorgeous corners to enjoy aperitivo hour in. The restaurant was a short scenic walk through the property, and the menu was a farm-to-table and delicious. We may have ended every meal with the cheesecake. Our time at Casa Newton ended with an extra special private dinner and the start of a bridal era ;)

Antichi Kimono: The home of my new favorite purse. This store is curated with vintage treasures sourced from Japan and I can't wait to go back.
Manufactus: This may be touristy, but I would still pay this leather goods and stationery store a visit, especially if you're in the market for a new notebook. I saw this blue color and fell in love.
Lisa Corti: The best homeware store, especially if you’re a bold print lover like me. Warning, you will want to leave with everything in the store.
Best Bites
All'Arancio d'Oro da Cialfi: Every bite was so good that we may have ordered an extra pasta for "dessert".
Alfredo e Ada: This tiny, communal table gem served some of the best bites of the trip.

Where I Shopped
Le Bon Marche: I could have stayed in the jewelry department all day playing with Sylvia Toledano and Ucciani, but luckily I moved on to discover Roseanna and came home with fun purple pants.
Officine Générale: If you're traveling with a man, take them here and they will act like it's their Sephora. In all seriousness, they make great staples for men and nice outwear for women.

Petit Dejeuner @ Hotel Vernet: Who knew I'd have the best breakfast sausage of my life at our hotel.
Dumbo Burger: First time trying this burger spot and will now need to go every time I visit.
